Panther Paintball is pleased to announce that for 2008 we have hooked up with the BCPPL  (British Columbia Paintball Players League) and have come up with a way to introduce more players to the fun sport of Speedball.

As you know Speedball is a faster paced game than regular woodsball, and the rate of fire is a lot more. So how do we make it affordable for the average player to start out and learn the game,  without getting trampled beneath the Novice and Am players.?

The LAST SUNDAY of every month at Panther Paintball ( unless an special event is happening like a tournament or Scenario game) will be Beginner / Rookie Speedball Practice.

The rates are as follows:

Playing time and 1 case of Paintballs ( 2000) = $60.00

We can do this because the BCPPL has agreed to subsidize  Panther Paintball for the extra costs involved in material and labour costs.

As well the BCPPL is offering 2008 Player cards to new rookie players who have never registered before for a discounted rate, if you attend and participate in  these practices.

So basically you are paying a $10 Field fee and getting a case of paintballs for $50, with the BCPPL picking up the rest of the tab from Panther Paintball .

Paintballs must be purchased at the field on the day of practice.

Practices will be run with guest instructors on occasions when we can get them to come by, right now we are in talks with former Pro's and World Cup players, some local veterans of  top tournament teams as well as Canadian Champions and current top level players.

As well we will be welcoming local Am players to offer their knowledge and participate in helping build the skills of the beginners and rookies attending.

Parents are welcome to come out and watch, participate or just hang out and cheer.

Rookie or beginner teams are welcome to come out and play, but you don't have to have a team to play as we will help organize "throw together" teams on the dates of play.
